individuals licensed as, or applying for licenses as, professionals in the State of California, in proceedings
against them by California administrative agencies, with a particular
concentration in cases involving the California Department of Real Estate. Examples include real
estate brokers and salespersons, contractors, and others who hold
licenses against whom the issuing agency may proceed. The firm
practices before the California Office of Administrative Hearings, in other
administrative proceedings, and in the Superior Courts and Courts of Appeal of
California.

OVERVIEW
Thomas C. Lasken, the firm's attorney, retired in 2001 after 23
years as a senior trial counsel with the California Department of Real
Estate, and has been representing licensees and applicants against
administrative agencies ever since. He has prosecuted
literally hundreds of cases against Respondents while an attorney for the
Department of Real Estate and never lost a single case. Before that he
had years of experience in civil and criminal cases in the Municipal,
Superior, and Appellate Courts of California. Mr. Lasken is a 1974
graduate of the Law School of the University of California at Berkeley
(Boalt Hall).
